Goma's wooden bicycles
Claude Chimanaku Midiburo uses the tshukudu to make money. A tshukudu is a type of wooden bicylce that can hold up to 500 kilos of goods. He brings these bikes uphill to Bukumu, where he buys fresh vegetables, and then gravity does the work rolling the tshukudus and their driving back downhill to the town of Goma.
