Protesting against the red apple
A group of women in Armenia isn't very happy with red apples. It's tradition in Armenia to give the bride's family a red apple after the wedding day, when the bride turned out to be a virgin. An obsolete tradition, many women believe, and that's why they bury the red apple in protest.
