Halla Einarsdóttir, in ReykjavikName: Halla Kristín Einarsdóttir
Location: Reykjavík, Iceland
What is your image of Holland?
I used to be an exchange student in Holland and for me coming from Iceland it felt a bit crowded. So many people in such small a place. It was fun and very much a hotpot of influences from all over the world, has a rich history and great pancakes. I loved bicycling everywhere. I remember a great smartlappen-evening in Utrecht. I made lots of fun friends.
What is your favourite place to be?
I love walking in cities, browsing in bookstores when I don´t have to be anywhere special and finding good cafes overlooking water preferably in good company.
If you could export a certain trait of your country, what would it be?
The absolute belief Icelanders have that anything is possible often making it so against all odds.
If you could change something in your country, what would it be?
Poverty shouldn’t exist in a country where the population is only about 300.000!
Who do you support to be the next president of the United States?
Hillary Clinton of course. We need a strong woman to clean up after Bush.
What will you be doing ten years from now?
In ten years time I will be making films, developing my painting and showing my children the world.
