The sun as a potter in India
When you don’t have any matches to light your pottery kiln, you are dependent on the sun’s rays. The Kumbharas in India have been making pots for ages, which makes the sun their source of income. As a sign of gratitude they worship the sun and leave a plate of food out every day.
