This week there is no new episode of Metropolis, but there are other developments going on. Bureau Buitenland just started with a radio version of our program. Every week they highlight one theme from various countries- every day another country. The podcasts are unfortunately only available in Dutch.
In the Netherlands we don't abandon an addict. We distribute cheap beer, hand out heroin for free and if necessary we offer a sleep spot. In the rest of the world our correspondents didn't find soft treatments, but only rehabilitation by praying, vomiting and tying up.
